Autumn is a great time of year to enjoy a little cooler weather than the sometimes scorching summers. Summer is usually festival season, but don’t be fooled – there are still some fantastic festivals left to check out. One of these 2013 Houston fall events is the Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival.
This will be the 24th year this annual festival will happen. The music lineup page has a ton of acts, spanning over three days on three different stage. These stages are called the Texas stage, Cajun Stage, and Willie B’s Pub if that gives you any indication of the styles of music that will grace the stages.
Something fun and different about this festival is the Mr. and Mrs. Catfish Pageant. This Mardi Gras themed pageant is an interesting part of the event.
The Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival is a family-friendly event, with a carnival/kids zone with about 450 entertainers!
What is festival without food? There will be lots of great food vendors.
While this festival is about an hour outside of Houston, it is well worth the drive! Tell us why you are excited for the Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival on our Facebook page, and feel free to contact us with any questions.
